MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Oh, the things we put our babies through!

This Christmas we were all alone, just Jack, the girls, me, and our furry babies. They were so excited for Christmas!
Time to Party!!!

Other than the glowing eyes, not a bad picture of the girls and our way too big tree!

My little 50's girls!

Loved to see Santa!

Kaitlyn, Tigger, Elorna, and Sammy!

Left for Santa!

They made out like crazy!!!
Trying to get into the gifts!

The toy from Nana & Papa lasted all of 10 minutes!

It was a great Christmas for all!

Last Leg of the Journey

I've been to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium before when I was about 16. It didn't make a huge impression on me, so I wasn't thrilled to go back, however I figured my girls would enjoy it since they are really into animals. My mom has also gone before, I'm guessing she really liked it because going was her idea. So we left Hearst Castle and started our drive down Highway 1. If any of you have ever driven down highway 1 you will understand when I tell you how horrible it was. Not only was it windy, but it was rainy too! A beautiful drive, if you're looking at it from the comforts of your home instead of white knuckling it from behind the wheel!
Trying to find a bathroom on Highway 1 is just ridiculous! Thank goodness it was me that had to go, and not the girls. It seemed to take forever to get there but finally we got there and to our hotel. It was the worst hotel I think I'd ever been in, but we dropped off our stuffed and off to the Aquarium we went!
The first stop on our trip into the ocean of unknown was of course, the jellies! They were beautiful! They had huge tanks of them all over the place. I remembered them from last time, but I think they had more this time, and they were AWESOME!!!

Time to go play! The girls had a blast pretending they were whales.

Go Orcas! The girls school mascot is an orca so we had to take pictures of every orca we could find.

Starfish!!!

My under the sea crew!

It even had really cool textures!

Tidalwave!!!

This was such a cool bridge. Not to mention a cold night! Goodnight Monterrey!

My country girls for a few days! tractor ride with Papa!

Time to see Tangled. As you can imagine they loved it, and so did I!

Elorna's and her buddy Molly!

Here's the girls waving for my friend Chris. Time to go back home!

All smiles, but it wasn't always smiles on the plane, This was us landing I believe.

Our trip was too short, but too long also. I wish we could go down twice a year and play at Disneyland, and Apple Farm. But maybe someday we'll get to go back!

Hearst Castle

This was one of the most beautiful architectural buildings ever! Elorna said she wants to live here someday, I told her I'll live with her when she does! Hope you enjoy all they amazing pictures!

This is the newer staging area, lots of food and souvenirs.

The outside of the Neptune Pool! You'd never know it, but it was about 9:30 in the morning.

What a guest house!
The front of the main house.

Now this is a pool! I wouldn't mind swimming indoors if it was in a pool like this, lavished in 28 K gold!

Time to go, highway 1 is horrible, but beautiful too! On to Monterrey Bay!
